Home > How to join us for a walk
It's easy - just turn up at our meeting place about five to ten minutes before we are due to leave for a walk and you will receive our traditional South Gwent Ramblers welcome - for details see here.
On walks, dogs must be held on a short lead at all times. Before bringing a dog, you must always check with the walks leader that the walk is suitable for a dog.
The programme of walks can be found on the Walks programme page. Directions to get to our meeting place are on the How to find us page. The grades of the walks are found on the Walks grades page. Advice on walking gear can be found on the Walking gear page.
Anyone can join us for a walk as long as you think that you have the fitness. If in any doubt about your level of fitness, have a look at the Walks grades page, or get in touch with us using the Contact menu above. You don't have to be a member of the Ramblers Association to join us for a walk, but we encourage you to join after a few walks if you wish to walk regularly with us.
How to join the Ramblers Association is set out here.
